MiCROTEC’s First Australian Logeye for Quality Scanning

Hyne Timber’s Tuan Mill, the largest timber mill in Queensland, Australia, has once again chosen to invest in MiCROTEC’s technology, with the mult-sensor real-shape and quality scanner, Logeye. With nearly two decades of experience using MiCROTEC’s solutions, Hyne’s latest investment marks its third Logeye system, with the existing systems integrated into their sawline.

This project represents a significant milestone, as MiCROTEC’s first Logeye installation in Australia to incorporate X-ray technology for log density measurement. The installation sets a new standard for quality log scanning applications in Australia and demonstrates the growing importance of quality-based log sorting worldwide.
